Every June, Dyke Marches take place in cities across the United States and internationally. On June 8th, over 1000 (some estimate many as 2000) people flooded the streets of downtown Boston building community, challenging militarism, and grappling with transphobia. |

One correction: Robbie Samuels (one of the people interviewed in this story) was not one of the organizers of the campaign to cancel the dyke march's initial headline performer. Robbie's intro should have said "...a member of the Boston chapter of the National Organization of Men against Sexism, which participated in the march..." and not, "...an activist who organized to cancel Bitch's performance..." Sorry for the confusion. |
