Anti-war Memorial Day observance in Boston;
organized by Veterans For Peace. |
|
Memorial Day-May 28, 2012-Boston, Mass.:
Veterans For Peace, Military Families Speakout,
and other anti-war activists gathered at Christopher
Columbus Waterfront Park to observe Memorial Day.
Speakers included veterans, military families, and
Iraqi refugees, and culminated in a solemn ceremony-
a flower dropped in the bay for each Massachusetts
soldier and Iraqi and Afghani civilians killed in the US wars.
