SDAC Releases Schedule for Anticapitalathon

Open Letter to US Attorney from Tarek Mehanna Support Committee
On Friday, March 12, members of the Tarek Mehanna Support Committee attempted for the second time to meet with a representative of the Massachusetts US Attorney's office. Again we were told to fill out a complaint form--there was no one at the office who could speak to us. We asked whether it was the explicit policy of the new US Attorney not to meet with concerned members of the public. The "Administrative Specialist" insisted that this was not the policy of the office, but couldn't explain why our calls, faxes and our formal complaint remained unanswered.

SDAC Announces Anticapitalathon (TM) Games

The IMF/WB are responsible for saddling struggling economies with unmanageable debt, driving billions into deeper poverty through the imposition of (badly misnamed) “poverty reduction” programs, and threatening countries who refuse to follow their austerity programs with economic blacklisting and isolation.

AmRen Conference Back On
In a surprise announcement, the white supremacist group American Renaissance (AmRen) yesterday said that their ninth biennial conference, which had previously been canceled, is back on. On the AmRen web site Jared Taylor, AmRen's founder, announced that the conference is now being held at the Capitol Skyline Hotel in Washington, DC this weekend, February 19 - 21.

The Powerful Testimony of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui
Aafia Siddiqui is a Pakistani neuroscientist who was educated at MIT and Brandeis. She was kidnapped by Pakistani intelligence agents and US soldiers in Pakistan in 2003, and held at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan for five years, where she was repeatedly tortured. Now she is on trial in US federal court for allegedly seizing a soldier's rifle and attempting to shoot him during her abduction.

Her fate is now in the hands of the jury, but the prosecution had some difficulties during the trial...
