350 Jews March from Coolidge Corner to Protest Racist Police Violence on First Night of Chanukah
tesssheflan.jpgBrookline, MA — Last night, over 350 Boston-area Jews gathered to observe the first night of Chanukah in Coolidge Corner by protesting racist police violence. They lit menorahs as a symbolic dedication to the fight to end systemic police violence and racial profiling, and to remember the lives of black people across the country who have been killed by police. Report From Last Night's Ferguson Solidarity March
Gratitude and power for all the actions last night in solidarity with the community
of Ferguson, with Michael Brown's family and all those who face the violence of
systemic racism, police brutality and the killing of black and brown people.

A few moments of light... At yesterday evening's demonstration in Boston, Sub/Urban
Justice youth leaders and community shut down the streets, witnessed at the South
Bay detention center, shared our voices in struggle and tried to figure out what
