Sexual Prey in the Saudi Jungle

She was a single mom from Mindanao, in the Philippines, who saw, like so many others, employment in Saudi Arabia as a route out of poverty. Statement in Support of Chuck Turner
Yesterday, Boston City Councilor Chuck Turner was sentenced to three years in federal prison for accepting a bribe. Turner has long been known for supporting radical causes and standing by his constituents, and the circumstances of his trial point to a concerted effort on the part of the Justice Department to silence his voice. Community Church of Boston's Jason Lydon has released the following statement.

Magallanes: Lessons in People's Mobilization for Chile and the World

In this context the government of the right-wing president Piñera announced that it would increase the price of gas by about 17%. This announcement was not well received by the population in Magallanes for obvious reasons. However, it is important to point that in the midst of this proposed increase in prices, the government is also firing personnel in the region and the country.
