The Governor’s Council issued a resolution at the Massachusetts State House on April 30 honoring Newton resident David Boyajian for his role in the campaign against the Anti-Defamation League’s denial of the Armenian Genocide and for questioning the appropriateness of towns’ affiliation with the ADL’s No Place for Hate anti-bias program.
On Tuesday, May 20th, 2008 at the Boston Center of the Arts from 6pm to 8 pm, local businesses and neighbors will join with young people to support youth programs in the South End/Lower Roxbury community.
The South End/Lower Roxbury neighborhood is home to 5,000 children and teens, and 14 housing developments. The 40+ youth programs here vary from national after-school programs to innovative local teen arts programs. Silent & live auctions of art by children and teens to benefit their neighborhood’s Youth Workers’ Alliance.
