Over 70 high school students participated in a sit-in against the Iraq War on All Saint's Day, Thursday, November 1st. The protest began when dozens of student gathered quietly in the lunchroom at Morton West High School in Berwyn, Illinois and refused to leave.

The anarchist video collective <a href="http://a-films.blogspot.com"><strong>"a-films"</strong></a> announces the release of two short films dealing with the situation of the Palestinian refugees who where forced out of the meanwhile totally destroyed Nahr al-Bared Refugee Camp in North Lebanon. After the fighting between the Lebanese army and Fatah al-Islam fighters had ended, the refugees still weren't allowed to return to the ruins of the camp, while the Lebanese army as well as civilians looted what was left of Nahr al-Bared.
