Mr. Gopal Siwakoti “Chintan,” a prominent human rights activist in Nepal, along with a number of other activists, has been detained in very adverse conditions without charges by the increasingly dictatorial monarchy. This is a letter demanding his release – please endorse as well as send a copy to the Embassy of Nepal.

Lorraine Ervin, a returning New Orleans resident, summed up the sentiment and resolve of many Katrina survivors in the press release from PHRF: “We are refugees in our own country. Where are our tax dollars that we’ve paid all of our lives? Why can $60 billion dollars go toward war in Iraq? There is no way we should be here [in the U.S.] begging... I will fight for my rights.”
One can say of Saddam Hussein what they wish but to my knowledge Mr.Hussein never aided a penny stock fraud of a mafia connected con artist who may well be responsible for tens of millions of dollars if not well over $100,000,000 + in frauds against Americans caught up in his penny stock scams over the years. Israeli President Moshe Katzav gets credit for that....
