Sign the Petition to Abolish the National Security Law!
17 Dec 2004
[I]n a few days, the South Korean government will be considering the repeal of the hated National Security Law - an instrument of oppression used against the democracy, peace, labor, and human rights movements in Korea since

Please endorse this statement - with your name, affiliation, and location – and send it back to us at abolish_NSL (at) yahoo.com.

We hope this statement will be the start of a larger international solidarity campaign tied into next year's commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of Korean Liberation/Division and the 25th Anniversary of the Kwangju Peoples Uprising....

Dutch violations of the rights of a defendant
17 Dec 2004

violation of the rights of Mohammed B, the suspect of the murder on the Dutch
cineaste van Gogh, which is not only an attack on his rights, but can also lead to a further erosion of the Dutch judicial system, which is based on the protection of the rights of a defendant and a fair trial.
