From the "don't-believe-everything-you-see-on-tv" department: It was hard to miss the pictures yesterday coming from Baghdad, especially the photogenic images of a statue being toppled by a crowd of Iraqis. As much as we like to see any statue of a world leader toppled, at least it should be done by regular people, not by stage managers located just off stage. |
