Friends, Today it grieves me to no end to see this madman Bush is actually going to go through with this. Deep inside I didn't really believe he would, given that even many big oil men are against this war, former Secretary of State James Baker among them, and so it behooved me to dig deeper for the genesis of a war that portends absolutely nothing good for anyone.
No matter what your views on President Bush's statement of upcoming
war, this, from an English journalist, is very interesting. Just a
word of background for those of you who aren't familiar with the UK's
Daily Mirror. This is a notoriously left-wing daily that is normally
not supportive of the Colonials across the Atlantic.
Peace rallies were held at fourteen major intersections along Massachusetts Avenue—from Dorchester to Lexington—on March 15. The one at Porter Square had approximately 500 people. The protests were held along Mass. Ave. not only to call attention to the way the war is draining valuable resources from our communities as the economy continues to decline.
1. Genocide by bombing war
2. Genocide by starvation
3. Genocide by massacre
All without molestation of the free press because only Pentagon friendly reporters will write stories about the american heroes.
