Cambridge, MA. On Thursday Cambridge residents and students participants called for peace. In the afternoon "Nerds Against War" rallied at MIT's campus; in the evening marchers from Harvard carried candles during a Peace Pilgrimage. (article 1)
9/11/01 A perspective from a 17 year old High School Student. What is to come? What can we learn from past generations? I want to make it clear that I love America. Although I point out the problems and mistakes our country has made alot, I feel that is a very patriotic thing to do.
Economists, in an effort to curb a recession which some are calling inevitable, have urged that the American public–those still with jobs anyway–go back to their daily routines and reengage in normal consumer behavior....
The last segment of the rally was Harvard's Kuumba singers, all wearing green ribbons, performing "Hold On Just a Little While Longer" in recognition of all the suffering of the past weeks. The suppression of articles of mine like "Delusions of War?" Id=3252 in selected cities like Richmond, Atlanta, and Vancouver may be an attempt to promote NYC-disasters in those cities. IMC Collectives seem to be at the forefront of this.
