This country's one emblem for which it stands, stands threatened in NH where in my corner of the universe lives an airport that desperately needs a bridge to clear up congestion and open business for merrimack (manchester)
These weren't the best photos ever taken and are better off read alongside my "Impressions of a Protest" article. If the IMC can better layout my article and photos, I'd appreciate it. They're also welcome to edit or delete any photo they deem poor. I did the best I could and haven't seen many photos on the subject. Hopefully, you'll find them informative.
This was originally intended for the web site for Boston's local magazine Whats Up, but they declined. I only wish I had put it up on here sooner, as I was most arguably the only reporter covering (from a neutral spot) the final conflict between protestors and the police on the evening of October 3, 2000. Even the Boston Globe relied on the photographers who stayed behind to help write the story the day after.
