Politicians Favor Israelis Over Americans (english)
27 Jan 2003
Money for Jews in Israel and deadly bombs and sanctions for their Moslem neighbors is a foreign policy based on racism and bigotry.
During the past couple months American taxpayers have been deluged with news about the many social services to the poor, the elderly and the sick that need to be cut due to a $500 million deficit that will triple to $1.5 billion next year if nothing is done to correct this dire forecast.

At this same time, our politicians in Washington are stealthily considering demands for $14 billions in new aid from the expansionist Israelis. It should be noted that Israel uses American aid to assist in its daily violations of UN resolutions and Geneva Convention protocols concerning humanitarian behavior in a repressive and murderous war that has now killed more than 2,000 Palestinians (mostly innocent civilians) in the past 28 months. These facts (covered-up in the mainstream media) are well documented by numerous local and international witnesses, and by many human and civil right organizations.

Furthermore, this aid to Israel is used to develop that countries weapons-of-mass-destruction program, including a rogue nuclear program in violation of its 1957 commitments to the IAEA and the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

I have recently asked my state political representatives to let me know if it was true that Israel never pays back so-called loans from American taxpayers. I have received no response. American citizens deserve politicians who can put their constituents interest above those of the repressive Sharon government. I am forwarding a copy of this letter to all my representative to ask why they are supporting more billions for a Israel while we are being asked to cut many valuable, humane programs at home.

Most politicians think itŐs quite rational for America to spend over 40% of the worldŐs total military expenditures. A major reason that many towns and cities are having money problems, stems from cutbacks in money from Washington to pay for the warmongering. This misguided policy will not only worsen the deficit, it seems to tells the elderly, the sick and the poor that they can just go to hell.

Finally, it is important to note that even without new money, we already give Israel a hundred times more dollars (per capita) compared to the rest of a troubled world that has a much greater need. As a Korean War veteran, it shames me to think that we are the cheapest (per capita) of all Western countries in the giving of humanitarian aid. Money for Jews in Israel and deadly bombs and sanctions for their Moslem neighbors is a foreign policy based on racism and bigotry.

Peace
