Man's Symmetrical Body Shape (english)

Do we not feel that, like animals, we too have a symmetrical body shape? Are we not curious enough to question why the functions of our body and those of the beasts have a lot in common? Then..., what’s the cause behind this? (article 2)
Symmetrical Body Shape
(A description of evolution as
imagined scientifically, based on logic)
As has always been the case in man’s effort to expand his
knowledge, which normally begins with his effort to imagine things on the
basis of the limited knowledge he has acquired (from the early people),
similarly this paper seeks to explain, by way of imagination, the
evolutionary processes that took place within living objects.
That the evolutionists should say that man’s body had
been undergoing a series of evolutionary changes leads us to believe that
when life first began to develop humans-to-be must have
still been in an extremely simple form.
In their further evolution—particularly after they managed to develop
the ability to move around—whenever the body moved forward, the contents of
the body would also move (shake). This would have been the time when the
body started to be symmetrical.
Now, let’s look at something that is very common in our
life. Let’s fill a hollow glass ball with peanuts, soybeans and corns
kernels, then tap it on a flat surface and move it forward, as if it is a
living being in motion.

After a while, we will find that all the contents of the
glass ball combine evenly. Now, if we count the peanuts, soybeans and corn
kernels on the right part and the ones on the left part, we will find that
the numbers are nearly the same.
It is common knowledge that whatever substances there are
in human bodies, all these are derived from what exists in nature. Molecules
as substances in our bodies are no exception and have, therefore, to abide
by all the laws (customs) in effect in nature. Is it possible for things
such as exemplified above to occur in human bodies?
Although in this example we moved the hollow glass quickly, and in
short jumps (so as to speed up the process of what is supposed to be the
process of evolution), this movement is, however, not so different from that
of a living being. The body matters might indeed shift just a few Angstroms
every time the body moves, and this new position (status) is bequeathed to
the offspring, which will then shift a few Angstroms further, etc. etc.
After billions of years the body might be able to transform itself into a
symmetrical living being as it is now.
If this is still not convincing enough, let’s apply some
figures for the purpose of verification. Since one Angstrom is equal to one
ten-billionth of a meter, a living creature, human being in particular,
requires a change span of 10,000,000,000 Angstroms to make a one-meter
change in its form. Scientists say that man*
(human-to-be) has existed for approximately 3 ½ billion years, an
implication that to achieve a one-meter change from the time he first came
into existence until the present time, he needs to change 10,000,000,000
divided by 3,500,000,000, or approximately 3 Angstroms every year.
Evidently, however, every time a living creature moves, all parts of its
body tend to shift. For example, once it moves its left or right leg
forward every part of its body will shift to the left or right. For these
parts to get back to their original positions, they have to have total
flexibility, which they cannot have. Added to this is the gravitational pull
of the earth. It is estimated that with just each movement, not to mention a
year’s movement, the parts will shift a few Angstroms from its original
In the process of evolution, almost all living beings
that can move eventually form a relatively symmetrical body. The left side
is symmetrical with the right side. This happens to both humans and animals.
It should, however, be noted here that this happens only if the body
condition enables such a transformation; otherwise, the separation will not
be symmetrical, as is the case with some internal organs of both humans and
animals. For example, a human heart is located on the left; the pancreas and
colons are also not symmetrical, etc.
Let’s take a look at another natural event.
A mixture of sand, sawdust, and fine particles of iron is
put into a glass box. At a certain distance and direction, we place a
magnet. If we hold the box in a certain position and then rock or jiggle it
for some time, the iron particles will clarify what we mean. They will
separate themselves from the sand and sawdust, and move towards the magnet.
Because the side of the box blocks them, the iron particles will gather on
the side that faces the magnet. This gives us reason to say that the iron
particles are a matter most sensitive to the influence of the magnet
compared to other matters around it.
As there are certain compounds of their bodies that are
photosensitive and affected by lights, they too react in a manner as
exemplified above. Before these living beings develop the ability to move,
it is their upper parts that represent areas most sensitive to lights. This
occurs the way it occurs in plants, whose leaves contain chlorophyll and
tend to face the sun. In mobile living beings, however, the senses-to-be
change their positions as soon as they are able to move around in search for
food. The movement by which the mouth is formed is the forward movement.
Since the front parts are the ones that experience the most touches, all
those that are sensitive are moved to the front part, and these include the
eyes-to-be and other senses-to-be.
Because the development of the body functions and the
formation of the symmetrical parts occur simultaneously, it is natural if
similar body parts with similar functions take a symmetrical form.
The eyes, ears, arms, legs, etc. are evidence of the hypothesis regarding
this evolution. Since all living creatures are made up of the same basic
materials, it is obvious then that not only human beings but also animals
have such symmetrical body shapes and body organs as they are today.
Please bear in mind that our
discussions here are confined to only how living creatures got those shapes
of theirs which have enabled them to move around easily. For the purpose of
clarification, it can perhaps be assumed that the symmetrical shape is a
result of the living creature being split by a vertical (illusory) plane
which meets at right angle with the horizontal surface of the earth, thus
forming an intersection line which is parallel to that of the living
creature's movement. In some animals that are able to move sideways or
backwards, such an ability develops only after they have got their
symmetrical shapes. Stationary living creatures such a plants, unlike the
mobile ones, some of them are always seen symmetrical, no matter from which
angle one views them, because, unlike the mobile creatures, they do not
undergo such things as described above.
Those who desire to understand the
evolutionary process as described above will find it helpful to put aside
those aspects of their beliefs which could have a profound influence on
their ways of thinking. This is particularly necessary, if one considers the
fact that quite a considerable number of people are of the opinion that the
various functions of the body have develop as such only because of man’s
efficiency in executing his life process. This implies that the functions of
the body have been so formed as an outcome of a predominantly one-sided
effort, which is obvious enough, if one considers the fact that any forms of
existence have the continuous reactions within them. Such an
opinion may be quite reasonable, if it is assumed that man being the one who
assumed the highest position among all God-created living creatures must
have a unique status in this universe. Nevertheless, the continuous reaction
that existed in man-to-be continues to exist in man, now in his completed
form, such that the body functions began to develop as a result of the
mutually influencing process that takes place between the body and the
external condition. Thus, should someone say that any judgment on the
symmetrical shape of man is a simple judgment which also tends to make us
simplify our judgment on man, he may be right! But, we have since the
beginning said that all of us originate from a simple matter, which simple
though it is, contains both energy and continuous movement—things which the
layman are just unaware of—as if there is life in it, haven’t we?
Those who object to these ideas are most welcome
to propose the more logical reasons they may have in their minds so that we
humans may have a better notion of who we really are.
The question is: How would you define the
word “Human being”? We, Cave Man, Cambrian human, Proterozoic human or
“Human-to-be”? I’m sure that there is only one system that make the animate
emerge from the inanimate in this world. One system, almost simultaneously,
and sporadically. That’s why we can’t give any definition on it. It’s all
because we emerge from only one system. It is only
because animate-creatures-to-be were then scattered everywhere and
influenced by different surroundings that creatures appear in different
forms as they do now. This means that it is said that life first arose
around three and half billion years ago, then one/some of them must be the
source of human being.
