Stop The Ecocide. Vote for Ralph
11 Oct 2000
We the undersigned, senior members of the world's scientific community, hereby warn all humanity of what lies ahead. A great change in our stewardship of the earth and the life on it, is required, if vast human misery is to be avoided and our global home on this planet is not to be irretrievably mutilated.

Will voting for Ralph Stop The Ecocide??
12 Oct 2000
Voting for Ralph Nader will not halt the ecocide.
Not Directly.

But, for reasons discussed later in this writing,it will be a big step in disarming the corporate death ship piloted by so many greedy hordes of demons.

The same demons that are seeing to it we follow steadfastly the obvious path of planetary destruction.

Ralph Nader himself has said unabashadly that he is not a hero and that he cannot, as one man right all of societies injustices.

Only society as a United force can bring about these changes.

In order for this to happen we must be able to (on some level) recognize true sincerity/character within one another and cultivate it. Divided we will accomplish only chaos and imbalance.

Everything that Raplh Nader has displyed in ACTIONS not words illudes to his sincerity and strong character.

As you may or may not be aware, one of the more recent and devastating threats to our planet as well as the people who live on it (for their fate is hand in hand)is WTO/NAFTA/GATT.

WTO/NAFTA/GATT guts and undermines all of the legislation that environmentalist have worked so extremely hard to pass.
It considers this legislation an obstacle or "barrier" to free trade.

The purpose of removing these trade "barriers" is in part to keep corporations from being held accountable to the laws of any one country.

Adamantly campaigning against Globalisation/WTO/NAFTA/GATT
is... Ralph Nader.

He has co-authored many books on the Evils of these international agreements and corporate power in general.

Among them

"Five Years of Reasons to Resist Globalisation and the WTO"
which is part of Open Media Phamplet Series.
(very good series by the way)

"Corporations are Gonna Get Your Mamma" co-authored by Noam Chomsky & Ralph Nader.

According to his platform, not only does he support backing out of "Free Trade" he also supports an immediate halt on the logging of national forest and the immediate implementation of natural energy and energy reform.

He supports a very robust Endangered species act.
Most importantly he supports handling corporate polluters with justice as opposed to indifference.

Example of Profound Injustice RE: Corporations

Currently Exxon has refused to pay a dime of the Exxon Valdez settlement, and is in fact trying to appeal a judgement for millions of dollars in damages from the incident which occured in the mid 80s!!

At last ...dont take my word for it...Read The Platform.

Still think he's full of shit? Study the man's record of civil service.

There is no doubt that George W. Bush and Al Gore are the same brand of pure Decadence, Greed and Evil.
They cater to the whims of Mindless Profit Driven Entities
(corporations) and to the mindless, (Largely American) Consumer who has been labotomized by the media.

There are enough like minded people , that we dont have to stand by idly and let it happen. Probably won't win( this year) but there are enough of us to at least Raise Some Hell!.

Finally I think that ol' Craig Stehr obviously needs to catch up on some reading.

Please humor me and have a look at some of these links.
