Open letter to the president (english)
14 Mar 2003
Modified: 10:59:04 PM
Self explanitory
Dear Mr. President;

I am writing this letter on behalf of the American people. Please return a piece of property you and your associates have stolen from us. The property of which I speak is the American flag. It is red, white and blue, with stars and stripes. I am sure you know what it looks like, as I have personally seen you waving it in everyone’s face for the last couple of years. You see, the flag I am referring to does not belong to you or any other public official, nor does it belong to any political party. Furthermore it does not belong to corporate America, the military/industrial complex, or the American oil companies. This flag belongs to the people of this great country; it is our heritage, passed down through the generations from our founding fathers as a symbol of what they believed to be the foundation of what would become the greatest government in human history. It was passed down to us to hold on to and protect it from those that would destroy the principals for which it stands. Those principals were spelled out in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Many people throughout the history of this country have paid the ultimate price to protect and defend it. They paid with their lives so that their progeny could carry on the traditions of freedom from tyranny, freedom of speech, freedom of religion and freedom of the press. They gave their lives so that we could enjoy the blessings of liberty guaranteed to us in our Constitution.

You are not the first public official to attempt to steal our flag and use for your own personal agenda. The history of our country is replete with those who would usurp our flag. Sen. Joseph McCarthy tried to steal it, but we got it back. Presidents like Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon tried to steal it, but we got it back. Likewise Mr. President we will get it back again. You can choose to give it back freely or we can take it back. Be forewarned that we will not be stayed in this endeavor and we will use every non-violent means at our disposal to accomplish this, our most important chore.

For The American People
William Leary

OOOps... Don't forget Clinton (english)
14 Mar 2003

I hope you don't use the Flag to propound any sing party's
idea..

CLINTON: Stole our Flag and disgraced it internationally
without a peep from the immoral minority.

Those who oppose profileing, until they use it to inure to their benefit. Those who stand behind Freedom of Speech
untill its some one they disagree with.. among other things.

Clinton was the epitimy of the confused.

There on National TV he was exposed for the exploitation
of women, without a peep from " whom ever".. claims
men should not exploit them nor women allow it. Yet,
these woman were left to fend for themselfs..
and this is only one incident of Clintonism. NOT A PEEP
when he BOMBED Irac.. why?

Infine, as individuals we all own a piece of the Flag,
thblood that was shed for it to fly freely, my brothers,
my countrymen...and comes with that is a tradition called
the Pledge.. that is now under fire... will you defend
her and state the pledge as writen ( no matter who you
may consider God to be? ) as the will of the people never has been a minority's opinion or dislikes, but a majoritys
consensus, also know as a social contract...

I am SO TIRED of puiting my traditions on the side lines
so others can "enjoy" theres without being "bothered"
by ours.. first as an Indian, secondly as an American
Citizen, a citizenry, whether I like it or not, that
was founded as a Nation Under God ( thats historical )
with "liberty and Justice for all.. "

Until the left recognizes the importance of our heritage, they will remain talikg to themselfs and the few
duped who get "involved" for a while, till it becomes
passe, boring or can not be included in their plans.

The old line die hard communists- your days are numbered..
as soon as the left figures out they have what you
promise " but MORE" than ever could be obtained under a
dictatorship.. that through a heart felt love for all ideas
and walks of life, and our traditions, we all will
Overcome one day.
