We must protest this teribble atrocity. The kurdish people have suffered enough!
Turkish troops invade South Kurdistan – US, Britain betray Kurds

22/03/2003 KurdishMedia.com
London (KurdishMedia.com) 21 March 2003: It has been confirmed that Turkish troops have invaded South Kurdistan, while the Kurds are helping the US and British troops to achieve military objectives inside Iraq.

Turkey has no pretext for such a move, as not a single refugee has crossed the border.

It is thus evident that America and Britain have betrayed the Kurds again.

Turkish objective is very clear – genocide of the Kurdish people.

Just yesterday President Bush said, "We will defend our freedom; we will bring freedom to others." He also said, "Iraq is for Iraqis." Thus there is no doubt that Bush’s promises are only lies.

Turkish move would not be made without a green signal from the US. Such a conspiracy against the Kurdistan de facto state will not only reveal a repeated betrayal of the Kurds, but also be a lethal blow to Kurdish aspirations and struggle for independence with consequences remaining for decades.

The US has sold the Kurdish issue for accessing Turkish air space.

some denials (english)

It's worth mentioning that Turkey has denied it, and so have some Kurdish sources. (See http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/2874635.stm)

Also, Germany has announced that if this is true and Turkey does invade, they will withdraw their pilots from doing patrols in Turkey. See http://www.dw-world.de/english/0,3367,1430_A_814925_1_A,00.html )
