Anti-Capitalist Call To Action for DC (english)
02 Apr 2003
The March Against the War on Iraq is on the 12th(saturday) the march Against US military Agression in Latin America (that's the one going to the world bank during their annual meeting) is on the 13th (sunday)
Que Se Vayan Todos - Call to Action April 10-15, 2003
Stop Military and Economic Intervention in Latin America and the Caribbean. Support struggles for self-determination and Autonomy.

While Bush continues his endless war, promising immanent war with Iraq, sending U.S. troops and bolstering repressive forces throughout Latin America, waging a war on the poor in the U.S., and moving closer to Free trade Agreements in Latin America. A storm is brewing to the south. From Argentina to El Salvador, from Bolivia to Immokalee, Florida, the people of the Americas are rising to challenge US Imperialism and global capitalism.

In April, thousands of people from across the United States and Latin America will converge on Washington DC to stand in solidarity with the people of Latin America as we say: "No to Military and Economic Intervention: Autonomy and Self Determination for Latin America and the Caribbean!"

Now is a particularly important time to stand in solidarity with peoples movements in the Americas. It is a time of great repression but it is also a time of great resistance. In Bolivia spontaneous rebellions are erupting in response to structural adjustment programs, in El Salvador health care workers are challenging healthcare privatization with takeovers and blockades, in Argentina the popular assemblies and worker controlled factories continue to blossom, in one of the most significant demonstrations of Non-hierarchical organization and resistance to Capitalism in recent history. As Anti-Capitalists and Anti-Authoritarians, its crucial for us to support the people of Latin America who are, in many ways, leading the fight against imperialism and global capitalism.

We call for all anti-Authoritarians, Anarchistas, Autonomistas, Sandanistas, Zapatistas, Piqueteros, and Puppetistas to converge in Washington DC April 10-15 for a festival of dance, music, workshops, marches, and direct action.
