What now? (english)

What are you going to do now that it's clear the Iraqi people like the U.S. military?
All morning long every channel showed images of Iraqi people in downtown Baghdad singing, dancing, praising U.S. soldiers, waving American flags. Two Iraqis were seen with a large banner that read "Human Shields Go Home." U.S. Marines and Iraqis together toppled a huge statue of Saddam. The Iraqi people were absolutely elated at the presence of U.S. soldiers in Baghdad. Iraqi expatriates in Dearborn, Michigan, are currently celebrating Iraq's liberation and waving American flags.
It is obvious to everyone around the world that the people of Iraq love the United States and the U.S. military. It is clear they disagree with the message of anti-war protestors.
Are any of you intelligent enough and humble enough to admit you may have been wrong?

This is the only sane posting I've seen on this site in a long time.

Now that the Iraqis are rejoicing in the street, will any "anti-war" protesters feel the need to reevaluate their own prejudices and mistaken judgments?

Somehow, I doubt it.

There has never been any question as to whether the people of Iraq hate Saddam Hussein. Who wouldn't hate him? The fact that they're elated and celebrating with their conquerors shows common sense. After all, now that they're owned by America they had by God better be grateful! I mean, c'mon! We paid 75 billion dollars for that country!

All that being said, I'll be curious to see how pro-America they are in six months or so, once the US oil cartel is in there, siphoning off all the capital and tossing the occasional bone of foreign aid to whichever arab nation can genuflect the lowest.

God, bless America.... we need it!
