Love, Rage and Anarchy:
The Legacy of the Love & Rage Revolutionary Anarchist Federation

Thursday, July 24th, 7pm

Lucy Parsons Center
549 Columbus Ave.
Boston, MA
(617) 267-6272

Love & Rage was a revolutionary anarchist organization built by activists in the United States, Canada and Mexico that sought to make anarchism relevant for the 21st century. Love & Rage made important theoretical contributions to the anarchist movement on questions of anarchist organization, race, and the centrality of fighting white supremacy. This book contains important documents from that organization which provide insights into the ideas and methods of Love & Rage that will be useful to activists, agitators, and those interested in the history of revolutionary thought in North America.

Roy San Filippo, editor of "A New World In Our Hearts: Eight Years of Writings from the Love and Rage Revolutionary Anarchist Federation" (AK Press, 2003), will be speaking about the history of Love & Rage, its impact on anarchism, and the problems and prospects of revolutionary anarchism.

Anti-authoritarian Maoists? (english)
23 Jul 2003
Umm ... am i missing something here? How exactly is a talk with a dude from the Maoist faction of l&r and then a talk with a panel that includes a bunch of people from the Maoist BTR group "anti-authoritarian?" Are we supposed to go so we can see a good case of a bad example?

And, furthermore, what the hell is nefac doing promoting a tour by a bunch of maoist fucks in the first place? What the fuck's that about? Damn.
