Who Is to Blame for Grief on a Beach?

hard truths about the Gaza beach bombing
An expert at a local chapter of a human rights group disputes the Israeli claims. Okay. Let’s concede for the sake of argument that the question of whether it was an errant Israeli shell remains unresolved. But the obvious question not being asked is this: Who is to blame if Palestinians are setting up rocket launchers to attack Israel — and placing them 400 yards from a beach crowded with Palestinian families on the Muslim Sabbath?

Answer: This is another example of the Palestinians’ classic and cowardly human-shield tactic — attacking innocent Israeli civilians while hiding behind innocent Palestinian civilians. For Palestinian terrorists — and the Palestinian governments (both Fatah and Hamas) that allow them to operate unmolested — it’s a win-win: If their rockets aimed into Israeli towns kill innocent Jews, no one abroad notices and it’s another success in the terrorist war against Israel. And if Israel’s preventive and deterrent attacks on those rocket bases inadvertently kill Palestinian civilians, the iconic “Israeli massacre” picture makes the front page of the New York Times, and the Palestinians win the propaganda war.

But there is an even larger question not asked. Whether the rocket bases are near civilian beaches or in remote areas, why are the Gazans launching any rockets at Israel in the first place — about 1,000 in the past year?

To get Israel to remove its settlers, end the occupation and let the Palestinians achieve dignity and independence? But Israel did exactly that in Gaza last year. It completely evacuated Gaza, dismantled all its military installations, removed its soldiers, destroyed all Israeli settlements and expelled all 7,000 Israeli settlers. Israel then declared the line that separates Israel from Gaza to be an international frontier. Gaza became the first independent Palestinian territory ever.

And what have the Palestinians done with this independence, this judenrein territory under the Palestinians’ control? They have used their freedom to launch rockets at civilians in nearby Israeli towns.

Why? Because the Palestinians prefer victimhood to statehood. They have demonstrated that for 60 years, beginning with their rejection of the United Nations decision to establish a Palestinian state in 1947 because it would have also created a small Jewish state next door. They declared war instead.

Celebrating the Death of a Jew
16 Jun 2006
There certainly have been articles about that-but I can tell you a real life story, because it happened in my family. My brother-in-law was murdered by Palestinian terrorists in Israel, and when he was shot, he was evacuated to a hospital in Jerusalem. There was an Arab family in the same unit and when my brother-in-law was pronounced dead they started cheering and ululating.

They DO prefer victimhood. It absolves them of having to hold their leaders responsible for corruption and national terrorism.

The corruption allows their leaders to pocket international wealth as they subject their own people to hell on earth.

It used to be they exported their terrorism to Israel. Now they're turning it on themselves. Yet no sight of dancing crowds handing out sweets to celebrate "martyrdom" when they murder their own people.

Victimhood also absolves their Muslim brethren of politically sodomizing that population. All the oil wealth in the world, and Allah commanding them to give charity, and yet this is the one "refugee" group in the world which languishes after almost sixty years. Despite continuous humanitarian aid from non-Muslim sources.

And finally, victimhood absolves themselves of supporting a terrorocracy. They celebrated it, they participated in it, they supported it, they voted it in, in free elections, and now they're tasting it. And they don't like it. And it's everybody's fault but their own.
They Would rather their Children Die

My doctor of over 30 years told me two years ago that he had been approached by a med school classmate, a Saudi, to ask if my doc would treat a female member of the Saudi Royal family for certain problems. My doc said "don't they know I'm Orthdox Jewish?" and his friend replied "they know ALL about you". So my doc said sure, just make sure to bring in a translator with her. She came in, went through the customary proceedures (although the translator objected - not on her behalf - to her undressing in front of my doc).

Anyway, my doc fixed her up and received an incredible sum of money (which he donated to the Holocaust Memorial in Israel) and he and his med school classmate met for lunch. At the lunch, his friend told him that a very young paliestian girl had been injured, badly, in a car accident and had been rushed to an Israeli hospital where she was given primo care and released several weeks later. Her familly was so ANGRY that she had let Jews save her life, they made her strap on a bomb belt to go back to the hospital to blow up the Israeli docotors and nurses who had saved her life. She got to the border, told the Israeli guards and they gently disabled the bomb and she went into Israel to learn to be a nurse at that hospital.

The hatred of her family toward her and toward the Israeli Doctors and Nurses who saved her life is absolutely mind boggling to me. I simply cannot fathom hate that so twists one's mind to reach the point her family did.

Absolutely true story.

Who is to blame for the destruction of Lidice? Was it Czech freedom fighters for attacking the Nazi invadors of the Czech's homeland? Was it the Czech citizen victims of Nazi invasion for failing to stop the Czech freedomfighters? Or was it the nazis who invaded Czech lands???

I say it was the Nazis who invaded Czech lands who are to blame for all hostilities created by the Nazi invasion. And I haven't seen anyone who challenges that. I also say that it is the Zionist invadors of palestine who are to blame for all hostilities created by thier bloodsoaked war of conquest. And there are plenty of people who challenge that supposition.

It really is lame when people suggest Zionists are victims of thier own chosen war of conquest. but go ahead and scapegoat the victims of the ZIonist's war of conquest. You already got lots of folks who buy into your propaganda. you should feel real popular. Not rational, but popular.

In 1947, Palestinians rejected the Zionist invador's stealing 1/2 of Palestine to create a jewish state, NOT "next door" but on top of 54% of palestine. What a pathetic white wash of the Zionist's invasion?

"They declared war instead." Oh, so it wasn't Zionist invadors carving a 'state" from 54% of palestine with was the declaration of war. It was the palestinian's rejection of Zionist invadors carving out a "state" from 54% of the Palestinian's homeland that is the declaration of war. Right! Sure! What an vile load of scapegoating crap.
