If you're going to measure action in all its forms by soley the number of people at an event, or as 'reported' by corporate media, then much is missed like maybe some of these events and reference if you don't accept 'the media' being qualified as such.
never fails... |
Any form of Citizens for Healthy Media' ought include independent campus-communty or strictly community, those completly autonomouns from universities and such, Allston Brighton Free Radio for instance to refer to 'the media' or still not have moved apparently beyond the "alternative' distiction', why not site examples of independent media. FAIR does notable reporting of corporate media but why not have slice of time for examples of potential mass independent media?
WORT Community Radio Station, Madison, Wisconsin some reference to news being prominent, Making Contact and other satellite programs as well as local news and music which even in case of WZBC and others appears to be less interpenetrable - glad to hear www.soawatch.org on WZBC last week and reference to What's Up and DN! sponsorship (See below).,

Please Don't Feed the Trolls
Wikipedia defines an Internet Troll as: "An Internet troll is either a person who sends messages on the Internet hoping to entice other users into angry or fruitless responses, or a message sent by such a person." Boston IMC strives to provide both a grassroots media resource as well as a forum for people to contribute to a meaningful discussion about local issues. Please, when posting comments, be respectful of others and ignore those trying to interrupt or discourage meaningful discourse. Thank you.
