Stop the Bombing of Lebanon Demonstration (Photo Essay)
Several hundred Lebanese-Americans, religious leaders and concerned citizens gathered in Copley square Friday for a demonstration demanding an immediate end of the humanitarian and economic catastrophe in Lebanon as a result of Israel’s bombing and invasion of the country.

Supporters lined the streets waving red and white Lebanese flags and holding signs and banners denouncing Israeli aggression and killing of civilians. A heavy storm moved in halfway through the rally but most of the demonstrators stood their ground singing, chanting and dancing in the pouring rain.
