Banners Dropped Against the Biolab
10 Aug 2006

The first banner read "Keep Ebola Out of Boston", referring to how the BU Level 4 biolab would bring dangerous diseases like ebola, anthrax, the plague, and more into our city.
The second banner read "Oppose the BU Biolab".
Two biolab opponents hung the banners together at 4 pm on the pedestrian bridge that is mostly used by people coming to and from the Eliot T stop on the Green line D train. The banner faced motorists stuck in rush hour traffic just before a stop light in Newton heading towards Boston.

The banners were hung by Operation: Over participants and follow on the heels of two other banners dropped in the past weeks against the biolab in Newton (Rt. 128) and Weston (Mass Pike). Operation: Over has also dropped banners over Storrow Drive and off of a BU campus building.
