Since Hurricane Katrina, volunteers from across New Orleans and the world have come together in an unprecedented effort to work in solidarity with one other in providing relief to communities most inneed while supporting their efforts to come home and rebuild in just and sustainable ways.

Whether people needed health care, legal support, food or water, access to computers or phones, homes gutted, soils cleaned of toxins, tutoring for kids, a bike or a place to lay their head, CommonGround has been there redistributing resources from those who have to those who don't.

We honor the people of New Orleans, whose spirit and courage inspire us. We honor all those who have volunteered their heart, soul, time and resources. We honor those communities who have beenravaged by racism and neglect that continue to organize and fight for justice and peace!

Together Let Us Celebrate This Common Ground!
