Which Craft?

If I could take a laptop computer 3000 years back in time, what do you think would happen if I revealed it in the public square?

Would I be arrested for witchcraft and publicly destroyed along with my laptop?

Would the government step in and take the laptop from me, leaving the individual minds within that crowd in sustained curiosity and speculation?

Would the government take me aside and get me to explain to them what it is and it how it works, or would they have to imprison and torture me or finally call for their wise men to show them how to use that ever so mysterious laptop?

Wouldn’t the people who believed what was witchcraft have to then confess that the government is studying witchcraft? Why would they not destroy the laptop in the peoples’ presence?

Would the government even permit a platform to collectively agree to redress the government’s response of national security reasons for such secrecy?

Some other thoughts:

If you consider God to be a metaphor for the collective universal physical laws that brought about our existence, then science is entirely aimed at unraveling the mystery of God – even if God travels in metaphysical realms.

Many other common mysteries of yesteryear, that would have been associated with witchcraft, are now common scientific knowledge.

What is this god behind the veil of organized and “divinely inspired” religion that is more involved with covering up than it is revealing?

Suppression of science and the conscience that studies its whole is witchcraft, which only permits study of half.
