We Must Impeach Bush to Take Back Democracy and Constitution. The Constitution DEMANDS This Now
15 Jan 2004
We must teach each other how to initiate articles of impeachment and Ammendment 25 Against the despotic Bush et al junta.
We need to contact our Federal Representatives in the House to initiate articles of impeachment against George W. Bush in order to overcome his media war chest of hard/soft money which is already $500 MILLION and will likely reach $ONE BILLION later this year--FACT. It’s easy to do. Just call your representatve! They will listen and act if enough of us call. Our phone calls are the only way to overcome the muffling influence of monied special interest political contributions on our elected officials. Dean is projected to accumulate a far less significant media warchest and has no entrenched control of the media such that the Bush administration has, ie., Fox News. Bush impeachment is also simply the moral thing to do for us ALL. Bush et al have committed specific, numerous and grave constitutional high crimes and can, unlike Clinton, be removed from the office of the President in short order if we the people get behind this movement. The fact that republicans virtually control all branches of US government should make us work harder for Bush’s impeachment not give up in impotent and irresponsible inaction. The people are called to overcome such a despot by our own constitution. We must fight to uphold the constitution NOW. The choice is simple: Impeach or dictatorship.
Bush is arguably also quite mentally incompetent to hold the office of President, which seriously and rationally invokes the 25th amendment of the US constitution. The constitution specifically urges citizens to stand up and revolt under the incredibly regressive freedom eroding constitutional activism this president is specifically and demonstrably guilty of. Bush has done more than any other president to erode the sacrosanct US constitution. This is academic FACT.
The public act and process of impeachment will keep the despotic Bush junta like executive branch dishonest manipulations at the forefront in the media despite the otherwise great institutional and political tilt of the US media that largely favors the Bush junta and the far right wing. If we do not use impeachment to balance Bush media advantage, we who wish anything other than a dictatorship will lose and Bush will become dictator.

I would appreciate a reply to this letter to the editor from all viewpoints. I'm asking everyone I know to contact our district Federal Representatives in order to urge them to initiate
Articles of Impeachment immediately. Look up your representative’s phone number on the computer! It’s easy! Simply ask that articles of impeachment be initiated. You ask that, give your name and zip code and that’s that! It’s our duty to do so as US citizens. We aren’t watching a spectacle on TV. We are living the nightmare of losing our democracy–rapidly. The US constitution is in dire and immediate crisis. We the people are under immediate obligation to protect our constitution. The commercial media is lulling you into inaction and confusion. Act now!

What about the millions of Americans who "DON'T" want to Impeach President Bush - and who (apparently) think he's the "Greatest Hero" since General George Armstrong Custer and Ronald Regean?
What can you or anyone else say about the "values" (not to mention mentality!) of all the Republican Congressmen and Senators who continue to steadfastly support President Bush and his Cabinet and their Iraq War and Patriot Act and their blatantly Fascist Agenda?

Bush supporters are so amazingly disconnected morally and ethically from the Anti-War-Pro-Civil Rights crowd! Are Bush supporters simply easily led or naive? or stupid? or witless? Or are they ego-centric,zenophobic and staunchly "Pro-Fascist"?
The voters may have a slim chance to stop the Bush Regime in the 2004 Elections - but he'll never be stopped (or Impeached) in a very "conflicted" U.S. Congress (Democrats are "Terrified" of the Pro-Republican Polls!) or in the U.S.Courts, especially the U.S. Supreme Court that aided his first Presidential election victory!
