The films include eyewitness accounts from 9/11 first responders, testimony from physics professors about the towers' collapse, victims' families' perspectives, and unanswered questions about 9/11.
Other topics include electronic voting machines; the unexplained death of an FBI whistleblower; the origin of the Federal Reserve; new findings about the Waco raid; and the federal response to Hurricane Katrina.

The majority (though not all) of these films can hardly be considered "alternative media" in the sense of coherent alternatives to the corporate media.
Notice that almost none of the films have any serious socio/political/economic or social justice analysis.
None deal seriously with white supremacy, male supremacy, American supremacy, capitalism, colonialism, corporate globalization or oppressed people's struggles against imperialism.
Funny thing, says a lot about both the films and the group putting on this festival.
Many are hack-job conspiracy films with little for no real scientific evidence to them, in my opinion, (with the exception of films like Hacking Democracy which is well done and worth watching, though not that relevant).
I am particular struck by the inclusion of "America: From Freedom to Fascism" which has serious right-wing libertarian overtones with a heavy anti-tax message the radical right is so famous for.
Proceed with caution... |

Jonathon's right. all these conspiracy theories do is make us look crazy. maybe there is more to 9/11 than what we're told. porbably actually. but seriously, what is gained by shouting incessantly about it and making bad propaghanda films. no one benefits from this. it's more important to focus on what's going on around us, not what has already happened. |
why are the jewish kids are scared of the 911 investigation. |

You guys are just terrified that everyone is going to put one and one togeather and realize the demolition of the world trade centers were planned in a brookline temple basement.
Just because the movie doesnt have a unamoius consensed apon Porno colective doesnt mean their not radical.
Ranting about white supremacism in the world capital of jewish goy hating supremists gives you away. Exactlly whats wrong with tax resistance?
lets face it, the explosives used to demolish the world trade centers were kosher. |
perfect example of lefty anti-semitism |

The above comment is not really worth a response, but it is instructive as a perfect example of the type of anti-semitism on the left generally these days.
This exemplifies a very real anti-semitism problem, a lot of it is tied closely to lefty conspiracy theories. Contrast that with what is often labeled anti-semitism by the right, that being any criticisms of Israeli State policy - which is not anti-semitism. |

The only type of person that would whine about the opportunity to see these films is someone who supports the status-quo (i.e. someone who want's the regime to get away with the Holocaust of 9/11).
Skillful government bots often use our own language against use. I think questioning the official 9/11 conspiracy theory qualifies well as "alternative." |

of course it's important to question the official story, but it's stupid to spend all your time screaming about it to deaf ears. it's simply a waste of time.
conspiracy theorists are never very productive and these folks ae no different. |
