4/28: Iran: Neoliberalism, Social Movements and the Threat of War
17 Apr 2007
Come to hear a talk and discussion on the contemporary grassroots struggles, the political situation in Iran, and its relationship to the current international capitalist crisis.
IRAN: NEOLIBERALISM, SOCIAL MOVEMENTSD AND THE THREAT OF WAR
(presented by Iran Solidarity Group & Boston NEFAC)

Saturday, April 28, 7pm

at the Lucy Parsons Center,
549 Columbus Ave. (Boston, MA)
http://www.lucyparsons.org

With the occupation of Iraq entering its fifth year, the US/UK now threatens Iran. The current controversy over Iran's nuclear program, its role in Iraq, and other recent events, has brought Iran back into the spotlight. With all the renewed focus on Iran, little is mentioned of the role of the struggles of workers, students, and women in the current crisis. Come to hear a talk and discussion on the contemporary grassroots struggles, the political situation in Iran, and its relationship to the current international capitalist crisis.

A benefit for the Iran Workers' Fund, a UK-based solidarity campaign to support Iranian workers.
