Holding Bush Accountable

Once Bush leaves office, what remedy do we have?
I'm trying to find out if there is anything that can be done to hold Bush accountable if he leaves office without being impeached. I'm not a lawyer. I don't know much about the legal system. Is Bush in the clear once he's out of office, January of 2009? You can't impeach an ex-president, so what remedy does this nation have?<br><br>(It seems more urgent now that we impeach him considering there are no options once he's an ex-president
