Question:So what was this Iraq War really all about?
20 Jul 2007
All the 2008 Presidential candidates, exept for maybe one or two, make all their election speeches about Iraq as if this war was a bit mishandled, but overall that it was a (wave the flag!) credible, vital and legitimate expenditure of American lives and taxpayer dollars!
It may seem a strange question to ask at this time, after the U.S.Govt.pumped over $500 Billion dollars into the Iraq War,not to mention the estimated 500.000 Iraqis who have died or the 3600+ US soldiers sent home in body bags.

But this is the question, that for the most part really remains unanswered i.e "What the Hell was this "Gigantic Fiasco" in Iraq really all about?" We know for sure that President Bush couldn't or actually isn't even capable enough,of giving a good god_damn about the welfare of the citizens of Iraq or wether they had a democracy or not!

No matter what Dubya Bush's ulterior motives may have been, how does any sane person explain the behaviour of the US Congress and Senate who rubber_stamped and aided & abeted Bush's catastrophic Iraq War every step of the way?

Theres a tenacious and pervasive unreality about this whole Iraq fiasco that characterizes and imbues the politics in Washington. All the 2008 Presidential candidates, exept for maybe one or two, make all their election speeches about Iraq as if this war was a bit mishandled, but overall that it was a (wave the flag!) credible, vital and legitimate expenditure of American lives and taxpayer dollars!

Just how or why that "credible, vital and legitimate expenditure" on the Iraq War was at first determined and then authorized by the US Govt,is still the most important question, that no one in Washington can or dares to answer!
