Boston Indymedia not doing enough
20 Mar 2004
Boston Indymedia should do more to cull out all these uninteresting articles.
If Boston Indymedia had any guts at all they would cut out all the posts except the ones they post themselves. What do people think they are doing posting there own ideas on a "open forum". If this post is not pulled within 60 minutes it will just show the Boston Indymedia censors are getting lazy.

This work is in the public domain

Forget about Boston IndyMedia.
20 Mar 2004
Boston IndyMedia is not an IndyMedia collective. It is a government run operation piping information about local activists to the FBI. Boston IndyMedia's collective was infiltrated some time back, its original members were pushed out and they have been replaced by people pretending to be activists.

The web of connections between these infiltrators and a previous generation of infiltrators goes back the the 1980s when COINTELPRO was harassing CISPES.

That connection involves a person in Somerville, connected to the collective, who is a former member of CISPES. She has a counter operative in California who was also a member of CISPES at that time and was acting as her "friend."

The net loonies in California (e.g. Fresca, Rational Normal Person, Bush Admirer, et al) who harass LA IndyMedia are connected to the California operative.

Back in the 1980s, the FBI ran COINTELPRO operations against CISPES. These were exposed in congress and became the basis for the changes that Ashcroft undid with his "PATRIOT" Act.

These two activists, one in Boston and the other in LA have spent most of their lives embedding themselves in the activist communities. Many people trust them but should not.

If you look at their behavior, as opposed to their public words, you will see that both are actually very conservative.

Getting back to the original point, stop using Boston IndyMedia. Spread the word.
