This week's show features stories from China Radio International, Radio Netherlands, Radio Havana Cuba, and the Voice of Russia.
From CHINA- Venezuelan President Chavez has won a dispute with Exxon over nationalizing oil reserves. Several stories in a row expressing China's view on the demonstrations and riots in Tibet- China asserts that the Western media is distorting facts and using images from events in Nepal- also they believe that politicizing the Olympics is wrong and should be avoided.
From NETHERLANDS- In reaction to the Tibetan riots, numerous European politicians are calling for various levels of boycotting the Beijing Olympic games- here is an interview with the leader of Tibet's Parliament in exile.
From CUBA- An enormous block of ice has broken off the ice shelf in the Antarctic, a rapid change due to global warming. A world perspective on the increase in food prices, the result of a "perfect storm" of factors including increased petroleum prices and crop disasters. Some see a link between the US air bases in Ecuador and the attack on Colombian rebels which occurred there.
from RUSSIA- Russia believes that the US has initiated Kosovo's independence to weaken Russia's global influence and to create another international hotspot. An opinion about the role of NATO as a stabilizing factor for Europe and the world. An opinion on the US war on Iraq as the US military death toll reached 4000.

It's free to rebroadcast, please notify me if you're airing it and haven't notified me in the last month, please mention the website if you only air a portion. If you just want to listen and have a slow connection, try the streaming version- lower sound quality but good enough and way easier if you don't have a high-speed internet connection. If streaming is a problem because of your slow connection, download the smaller file- it takes 20 minutes or less, and will play swell in any mp3 player application (RealPlayer, Winamp, Quicktime, iTunes, etc) you have on your computer.
