There is a whimsickle feeling of relief in the air now that George Bush has really gone away.
Bonnie Rovics, David’s sister, and host of this fine event, told of an eye-witness account.

David Rovics, who is as well known for his politics as well as his music, gave a global perspective to the Obama Inaugeration.

David Rovics has been a folk-activist for decades, and he recently fathered a beautiful daughter. That inspired him to write Children’s music, like “Punk Rock Baby since the Day I Was Born.”

Recorded at the Bonnie Rovics house concert in Jamaica Plain on Jan. 25, 2009.
