The Heartist - Non-Profit Vid. Production- Free Event
01 Mar 2009
Nowrūz (Persian: نوروز /noʊruz/ ↔ [noʊɾuːz]; Kurdish: Newroz) meaning ‘New Day’. Nowruz marks the first day of spring and the beginning of the Iranian year. It is celebrated on the the day of the astrononmical vernal equinox, March 21. As well as being a Zoroastrian holiday, it is also a holy day for The Heartist, our new, non-profit media and culture outlet.

The term Nowruz first appeared in Persian records (c. 648-330 BC), but is being revolutionized this March 21, 2009! No cover! Go on with your bad self.
