Upcoming meeting of the Boston Icarus Project. |
The Boston branch of the Icarus Project will meet at 7 this Monday night at the Lucy Parsons Center, Boston.
From the mission statement of the Icarus Project:
"The Icarus Project envisions a new culture and language that resonates with our actual experiences of 'mental illness' rather than trying to fit our lives into a conventional framework."
The group currently has three or four core members. We hope to have more. The first part of the meeting will consist of planning and brainstorming. During the second part, those who choose will have a support group for talking through the past week and life in general. You need not take part in both events, if one doesn't interest you! If you plan on just get an introduction and learn about the Icarus Project, please show up early, say at 6:30. I can talk about and explain the group with you. Alternatively, you can ask me questions by e-mail.
