WHAT: CANDLELIGHT VIGIL IN SUPPORT OF THE AMERICAN HIKERS DETAINED IN IRAN

WHEN: September 30, 2009 from 5pm to 7pm

BACKGROUND: Joshua Fattal, Sarah Shourd, and Shane Bauer have been detained in Iran since July 31, 2009, when news reports say they accidentally crossed an unmarked border during a hiking trip in Iraqi Kurdistan. Josh was a Teaching Fellow on the International Honors Program’s (IHP) Health & Community study abroad program from January to May 2009. IHP is based in Boston.

September 30 will mark two months in detention.
