Keith McHenry, founder of Food Not Bombs, will be speaking at the Lucy Parsons Center Sunday, November 1st at 5:00 PM. The LPC is at 549 Columbus Ave. in Boston. |
Thirty years of covert efforts by the U.S. government to disrupt Food Not Bombs has failed to interfere with our progress, due to our dedication to nonviolence, our non-hierarchical decision making structure and focus on the sharing of free vegetarian meals.
Find out how surveillance and infiltration is used to stop legal political organizing. Federal, state, local and corporate programs use wiretapping, sex and violence to disrupt community efforts to feed the hungry and organize for peace, social justice, animal rights and a sustainable future. Inclusion on the "terrorist watch list", wiretapping, and infiltration may be one indication that authorities fear the work and
message of Food Not Bombs, yet millions of tax dollars spent on spying have done little to stop the all volunteer movement. |

Please Don't Feed the Trolls
Wikipedia defines an Internet Troll as: "An Internet troll is either a person who sends messages on the Internet hoping to entice other users into angry or fruitless responses, or a message sent by such a person." Boston IMC strives to provide both a grassroots media resource as well as a forum for people to contribute to a meaningful discussion about local issues. Please, when posting comments, be respectful of others and ignore those trying to interrupt or discourage meaningful discourse. Thank you.
