unity's truths paid in blood
10 May 2010
to put back together a million broken stones into a united nation
Unity’s truth paid in blood
By Murdock Todd Cote (Doc)
In America for two hundred and thirty-three we fought for our freedom from the tyranny of the old world, twice 9221 died in both the war of revolution and the war of 1812, we fought each other because of ideology of right and wrong which took the best of us half a million died; we fought Indian brush wars of the late eighteen hundreds after the Civil War to conquer what was left of the great frontier what is now modern western America then hierarchy(upper class self made men) made up a story that brought us to war with Spain and it’s monarchy when the battleship U.S.S. Maine blew up in Havana Harbor 4068 died their 385 killed in Action the rest from disease then came World War 1 53402 dead or MIA, thus ended the glory of war it is true we lost other in brush wars and allied expedition but they were very light to compare to the major wars in World War II we lost over 290,000 killed in combat the world lost a lot more
Still America’s children are brought up in class structure of their grandfathers hates fear and mistrust of anyone and everyone who does not look like them, talk like them or think or call god by the same name, the evangelic of the concevitive right tend to fan these fires of hatred men like the head of the Westborough Baptist Church and those who hate for the sake of hating. The cost of freedom is high Sabation Lee said and I quote…….
“Here is the price of freedom:
You’re every drop of courage, ounce of pain, pint of blood.
Paid in advance”

- Sebastian Lee, “The Rising Tide” AFC 271
Abraham Lincoln said and I quote….
“A house divided shall not stand”
To stop hatred and recognize that till we stop teaching hate and fear at home, we will never truly be united as one nation. The United States is like a giant crock pot, Judean, Christen, Muslim, Seak, Hindu, Buddhist and over a thousand more religions who call god by a different name, we are white, black, yellow, copper skinned, we are men and women, we are straight and we are gay. We all came to America from the old world, Asia and the Middle East, all created by the father as for the guy on CNN who said if the father came down he would have all the members of the LGBT Community terminated. Here’s a question why? Why would he terminate something or someone he created? People like that gentlemen and others in the evangelic community. As they do in the middle-east we too have people who have mininterpited faith to mean hate and fear. I ask all Americans to ask this how man of our son’s and daughters have died to defend us? And how many were Asian, Middle Eastern, and European how many were of different cultures and yes how many were gay and lesbian? From bellou wood to the killing fields of Europe to Korea to Vietnam and both Gulf War I and II and the countless humanitarian and rescue missions around the world. The only paths to a United States be truly united as one country is the following……..
1. Acceptance and tolerance of all cultures and practices and faiths

2. Acceptance that each of us as a person has the right to choose our own destiny’s without fear or retaliation by others

3. Acceptance that whom a person man or women chooses to be loved by or love without fear of retaliation by others

4. Acceptance that we are Asian, White, Middle Eastern, we are black and copper skinned

By choice we can be united as one nation, by choice we can choose to fall into a million broken stones. The constitution of the United States and the bill of rights give us the right of choice to each individual to choose our destiny. I as a writer choose to fight hate, fear and mistrust to fight for what we believe in to be justice, acceptance and tolerance and dignity and respect and honor
