WHO: Comedians Lenny Clarke, Steve Sweeney, Johnny Pizzi and Special Guest Jimmy Tingle

WHAT: On September 23, 2010, the Committee Against Repeal of the Alcohol Tax will host a Comedy Night Fundraiser and Rally for Vote No On Question 1: No Special tax Break for Alcohol.

Massachusetts voters could use a laugh, and we’re giving it to them.

The Vote No on Question 1: No Special Tax Break for Alcohol campaign is happy to present Comedians Lenny Clarke, Steve Sweeney, Johhny Pizzi and special guest Jimmy Tingle for a $20-dollar-head fundraiser and rally at Florian Hall in Dorchester.

On November 2nd, Massachusetts voters will be asked to repeal the alcohol sales tax that generates $110 million for addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery support services. Only basic necessities like food, clothing and prescription medicines deserve an exemption from the sales tax. Not alcohol!

Join us Thursday evening at 5:30 for a night of laughs and politics.
