The differences between the USA and Brazil are immense.
The English settler that arrived in America colonized the coast and it was not mixed with the natives. When they noticed that they were sufficiently armed they marched to the west and they adored a final solution for the indigenous problem (expulsion, confinement and extermination - politics in fact very eulogized by Hitler and his fucking Nazi ones).

In Brazil the settlers arrived and they filled the New World of children with the Indians. There were enemy and friends tribes. The enemy natives were combatted, but they could flee for the interior of the country were left in peace. The history books say that the Tupinambás were exterminated in the Brazilian coast. However, until today they exist descending of coastal Tupinambas in Xingú, where many Tupinambás they fled in reason of the conflicts with Portuguese.

The Portuguese treated the African slaves very badly. It is true. But it is also true that the country is full of mulattos because the Portuguese they didn't have racial shames and they made children in the "big house" and in the "slave quarter".

The largest American writers of the century XIX is white. The three larger Brazilian writers of the century XIX is mulattos.

Multiply the tolerance or the racial hate for some centuries and you will have two realities: on a side the USA, an armed gunpowder barrel to explode; of other Brazil where the conflicts always end in pizza and beer.

Brazil is so Brazilian that our largest Civil War of the century XX resulted in 934 died (some people say that they were 2200 died) this in an armed conflict that lasted 3 months in that more or less 200 thousand soldiers struggled. Which would the number of deads be if this war went in the USA?
