The Press Free or gagged by the Government or the Republican Party
By
Murdock Todd Cote (Doc)
Sometimes as I read the paper or listen to the news, I found it to be sanitized Bull; all I see is the local crime reports, wedding announcements, sports news; columns by writers curtailed by sensors and editors orders. To me they afraid of standing up to oppression and saying something when the government goes too far or pushes to far, When it’ hurts our Elders, low income, the poor, and the homeless. Citizen made homeless when owners would rather close a company then pay their share of equitable wage, tax’s, or provide a safe and secure work environment. I have to ask this to a legislature who have lost it values of leadership and the path they have chosen, a question that the newspapers and general media should not be afraid to ask of this and every government that existed in the United States of America. Where are you’re values you have lost?
Leadership Values
1. Strength
2. Courage
3. Honor
4. Logic
5. Brain
6. Heart
7. Love
Too this writer I am finding a press and the general media filled with the fear of offending the government, or political parties, frightened of being cut off from stories or currant events; I say to all of you stand up, do not stand down and cower in a corner afraid. You have the power; you are the voice of those who have no voice. The legislature said once if you don’t like what’s going on vote them out, problem is that vote is meaningless now days, because the Electoral College is bought and paid for by those who play games with peoples lives we all know that the Governor of Florida screwed around with the 2005 election given then President a second term he did not deserve. You’re the only voice we have left; do not let them intimidate you into silence. You’re the only one whom can make them do what’s right, instead of fearing them make them fear you.
