Not Confusing the Political and the Personal
14 Mar 2012
Modified: 01:43:33 PM
Of course the political and the personal are one! What else?
As long as I can remember, as far back as when I was co-editor of The Collective Networker Newsletter in 1975 in San Francisco, the mantram was: "Don't confuse the political and the personal". Thirty-seven years later, I have learned that only an automaton would believe that the political and the personal are totally separate. Having just returned from Occupy NYC and D.C., I am resurrecting my personal life. Also, I am now paying off debts accrued from borrowing money to be at Zuccotti Park-OWS and both Occupy D.C. encampments; no joke, I look forward to when I have more money, hopefully soon. I won't mention that I am overdue for sex, because I don't want to freak out the otherwise liberated bods of the IMC tech staff, resulting in this being taken off the newswire.
Maine Earth First! surprised me with a "present". They created and are maintaining a blog featuring my Occupy NYC and D.C. reporting, observations, and damn right the political and personal are one. Please enjoy it here:
