Animal Rights Issues In China

Primates, elephants, bears, dolphins, pigs, rhinos, dogs, cats, turtles are some of the many species abused in China
A recent cancellation of a 600 year old dog meat festival in China
because of animal rights opposition is an indication of
the growing Chinese animal rights movement. As everywhere else
much work remains.
PRIMATES More and more animal research labs are outsourcing their primate
breeding to China.
ELEPHANTS Illegal ivory, trade in which has killed millions of elephants,
is openly for sale in Chinese city markets
China is involved in live dolphin trade
PIGS China butchers more pigs than any other country. 450 million pigs are currently enslaved and
destined without angelic intervention for murder.
China kills more pigs than the next 43 countries combined.. there are new billionaires in China from pig murder
BEARS China has more captive bears kept in agony while incarcerated for their organs and bile... than any other
country. It is not just dolphins who have killed themselves to
avoid laboratory experiments. A mother bear killed her cub and then
herself to avoid a life of pain.
HORSES China butchers more horses than any other country.
SEALS When the world organized against the sealclubbing slaughter of the Harper regime in Canada,
Zemin of China propped up the faltering genocide by buying large amounts of seal cadavers.
RHINOCEROS POPULATION The Chinese
demand for rhino horns is threatening
the world's rhino population.
ALL BEINGS EDIBLE No animal's, bird's, reptile's or fish's flesh is taboo in China.
Cat entrails, dogs' eyes, etc. are served. Pets are stolen and killed.
