By Showing We Stand By What We Say

The events in Boston yesterday were so tragic. Once again, innocent Americans were ravaged by violence for no good reason. No matter the face behind it, there can be no real good reason to attack others that have done absolutely nothing to you. To do so is beyond cowardice. It is the realm of those with defects, the likes of which the rest of us shall never be able to fully comprehend. We would like to, we would like to understand why it happens in our nation so much more than any other Western nation. But we simply cannot, and we must never stand down in the face of the weak and those that voice their frustrations, fears and various instabilities. We must always rise and demonstrate to them that there is nothing their actions can show us.
We've seen lunk heads that just don't seem to know how to deal with stress or properly express their views, vent on groups of innocent Americans. We've seen religious extremists bent on manipulating others to their will, to subjugate others and to oppress others attempt to force innocent Americans to bend to their will. We've seen people with mental disorders and shortcomings that are obvious when we hear them open their mouth for the first time after they've committed their heinous acts, and realize there is no way to understand them, but proper psychiatric care may have thwarted the degeneration of their mental state – we'll never know.

What we do know is that it's reprehensible, and that we can't just allow it to happen. We must find ways to stop such acts of random violence within reason, and still maintain a free society. There are surely loopholes to close, and we can do it.

These are people that plan well in advance often enough, and wait until they believe people are unsuspecting and at their most vulnerable. It is what they are. People like them may say they are just smart, but people that get away with crime are usually also described the same way by people of their kind. But to everyone else they are what they are.

But regardless, our nation's ability to stand together and never relent comes shining through at moments like this. Whether we are attacked by religious zealots, like Al Qaeda on 9-11, or military fundamentalists, like Timothy McVeigh and the folk that helped him set up the attack on the Murrah building in Oklahoma City in 1995, we come to stand, push back, and to let them know they won't be doing a thing to us.

There is no way they can push us without feeling the burn of justice, it will happen. If they seek to strong arm us, they will merely be breaking their own in the process. If they seek to knock us out, they will make themselves faint. If they seek to end things with a blow, they will learn we only grow more determined and stronger. If they seek to take our rights, we will treat them in a very American way. They will be forced to turn their backs, become mush-like and remain silent, as they either hear the sentence we read out for them to hear, or pay another way.

We stand firm, and come together, we teach them about who we are through action. A random act of obviously orchestrated bombings were carried out against innocent civilians in Boston, but America came together. We helped our fellow Americans pull through the pain, anguish and chaos of a day that has come to symbolize the best in us. Certain elements wanted to cause it to symbolize things other than that.

But, it never happened. In fact, it just made it a day that brings out the best in Americans all the more so. A coward attacks then turned his back and scampers. That is just what a coward should do. But they all get brought to justice sooner or later, and they hear the sentence, however hard it may be for them to face.

Whether it's a bunching of cowards, or a single one, we stand strong, persevere and take it to the next level every time. We become ready to meet the next challenge and step forward, we only get one opportunity to live as Americans, so we best take full advantage of it while we can.

The stop signs of cowards mean go. The yield signs of cowards mean don't stop. The childish taunts of cowards mean walk straight forward. Never shall an American be turned around or turned back from their quest by the weak. Never shall an American be stopped, they will, only move forward and press on.

It just is not American, it's fake as the rapper Rick Ross claiming to be a gangster, but using the court system to get the real life Rick Ross not to use his name in the media. I'm not a gangster, but I don't claim gangsterism, or to live a gangster's life. I am an American, and am real about that. I would never allow a person to take my freedom and prevent me from living the life of my choice, I would fight in the ways that the founding fathers of this country laid out for me to do and never stop. The more attempts I would get to force me from my liberty, the more I would spend time thinking up new ways to keep those things from happening and finding ways that the founding fathers laid out for me to keep the goal I have set, set. To say that's wrong is to behave as an un-American person. There's no reason to apologize for being an American.

The people that braved the chaos and anarchy yesterday, that was set about under the flags during the Boston Marathon were the real heroes. Those that stepped into the fray as the smoke encircled. Those that tried to stop the marathon and the celebration of freedom were the sorts of people that don't have the right to be in America. This is because trying to take the liberties of Americans is the purview of traitors like Timothy McVeigh, Jonathan Pollack, and Anwar al-Awlaki. You and I, we don't belong to those ranks. We believe in freedom for all innocents, both here and abroad.
