Some Basic Everyday Phrases in Arabic

I have been at numerous anti war demonstrations with our Palestinian and other Islamic brothers and I have been ashamed by ignorance of the beautiful Arabic language. So I have learned some basic phrases, which I am posting here for the community's benefit. Learn Arabic - it's fun!
How speak Arabic



nikomak - Hello
sharmoota - refering to an arab’s sister
zib - What a man thinks with
Elif air ab tizak! - A blessing be upon you!
kisich - sister
Elif air ab dinich - The religion of peace
Mos zibby! - Waiter!
Waj ab zibik! - Blessing for a holy man from Mecca
kelbeh - Sir or Gentleman
Muti - Saudi word for mufti or islamic cleric
Kanith - Palestinian word for islamic cleric

Kwanii - holy soldier, of jihad
Bouse Tizi - thank you very much
Khawal - Mister, precedes a man’s name. Khawal Arafat
Maaras - Father of 7 girls
Ebn el Metanaka - Title for Saudi royalty
Mara - Mother (Egypt only)
Aha - arab export
Khara - A dish frequently eaten in arab lands
gaeheba - blessed wife

Khara beek - Hello, sir

Khara Beech - Hello, maam

Gawwaad - An arab student in the US

I don't know all the words here, but one definitely does not "refer to an arab's sister" as a whore.

I don't speak much Arabic but I know these are not things you want to say to Arabs. They are insults. I know "bouse tizi" means kiss my ass. I won't go into the rest.
