Since Smithfield, the world's largest pigkiller, was sold to a Chinese corporation, there is even less environmental or animal protection enforcement.

Hazards of pig flesh include trichinosis, several kinds of cancer, heart attacks, strokes, food poisoning,
arthritis, Alzheimer's (correlated to homocysteine which becomes amyloid plaque in brain arteries), aneurisms, embolisms, kidney failure etc.
