The life and work of St. Croix-born, Harlem-based, Hubert Harrison will be the topic of discussion with a focus on Harrison’s work as writer, speaker, educator, activist with an emphasis on activism in Boston when he founded the militant organization and newspaper “New Negro Movement” in 1917.
