WHAT A GREAT BIKE-A-THON!
On June 19th we enjoyed beautiful weather for our 29th Annual Bike-A-Thon! Huge thank you to the 730 registered riders who raised over $193,000! All of these funds have gone to our Youth, International and Shop programs that provide skill development, jobs and sustainable transportation.
Special thanks to the volunteers and many sponsors who made this event possible. Riders and Volunteers, if you have feedback, we want to hear it! Complete the survey before July 15th for a chance to win a gift card!
Check out photos from the event and read the full results on our web site.

We'll greatly miss Arik's presence and skills around the office, and wish him the best of luck in North Carolina!

VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH - MIGUEL GUERRERO
Miguel Guerrero took Earn-A-Bike in the summer of 2015, and quickly became immersed in BNB's youth programs. Since then, he has earned and built two bikes, and attended pretty much every Unity Ride, Bike In and special event that we've done! Based on his steady, daily attendance, Miguel took the winter advanced mechanics course for youth employees, and since then has volunteered as a unpaid Youth Instructor in Earn-A-Bike and BOCA -- even mastering wheel truing, which is an advanced skill. Some of his favorite memories over the last year were the Halloween Party and the 2016 spring overnight Member Retreat, and his passions are riding a well-tuned bicycle, wheel truing, and video games.
